What AlphaTrack is

AlphaTrack is a trading journal. It helps you record your trades, track fees and funding costs, and estimate tax based on numbers you enter yourself.

AlphaTrack is not financial, investment, or tax advice. Every figure it shows — R-multiples, P&L, Est. Tax, win rate — is calculated from data you enter, using general formulas. It's not a substitute for a licensed financial advisor or accountant.

What we collect

When you create an account and use AlphaTrack, we collect:

Account info: your email and password (we never see or store your password in plain text).
Journal data: everything you enter into your trade journals — pairs, prices, sizes, exchanges, dates, notes, screenshot links.
Fee, funding and tax rate settings: the numbers you enter for each exchange.
Wallet balances: asset amounts you choose to enter, if you use wallet tracking.

Nothing beyond what you actively enter. No tracking pixel, no ad network, no selling data to third parties.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, on AWS infrastructure in Sydney, Australia, restricted so only your own account can read or write it. As the operator, I can access stored data through the backend for support or bug-fixing — this isn't used to browse user data casually, and I don't share what I see.

Third parties involved

Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
Netlify — hosts the website.
CoinGecko — live price data; no personal data sent, only ticker lookups.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure, and for what you enter — one account per person.
Don't attempt to access another user's data, scrape or resell access, or interfere with the service.
You can ask to see, correct, or permanently delete everything stored against your account at any time.

Cookies & data retention

Local storage keeps you signed in between visits — not used for advertising or tracking. We keep your data while your account is active; deleting your account permanently removes it.

Pricing & availability

AlphaTrack is currently free during early access; if this changes, existing users get reasonable notice first. The service is provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime at this stage — keep your own backup of anything critical, particularly around tax time.

Liability & governing law

AlphaTrack is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for trading losses, tax outcomes, or decisions made using figures the app produced — verifying those numbers, and your own trading and tax decisions, is on you. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and flag it in the app.
